For the past 40 years, Pearl Creek School has been a leader in academic achievement within our district. As we open the doors to Pearl Creek STEAM School, we are excited to build on this legacy while introducing a dynamic, innovative STEAM curriculum. Our commitment is to create an environment where every student can thrive, explore their potential, and develop a lasting passion for learning.

Unique Outdoor Setting

Pearl Creek is situated in the hills of Fairbanks. Its unique outdoor setting provides a wealth of recreational and educational opportunities. Pearl Creek features groomed Nordic ski trails, a full-sized hockey rink, a community garden, and numerous hiking trails. It is also within walking distance of a local raspberry farm. All of these elements will be incorporated into our teachers' lesson plans. Students will harvest vegetables from the garden, pick berries at the farm, hike through the birch forests, and gather inspiration for art projects in the boreal forest.

A Community of Parental Involvement and Support

As a parent there are many opportunities to become involved and be a part of your child's education at Pearl Creak including a variety of parent led after school enrichment clubs.

Teacher Involvement & Community Support

At Pearl Creek, our teachers are driven to go above and beyond in creating exceptional learning experiences. They are actively encouraged to apply for grants, develop innovative programs, and build strong partnerships with local corporations, scientists, and artists. ​​
